As a lifelong reader with an appetite for high-heat fiction, I got tired of the silly idea that a book with spice couldn't also be a masterpiece. Many of us grew up in a culture that wasn't very sex-positive, but curiosity doesn't come with an expiration date. For too long, romance and erotic fiction have been treated like guilty pleasures. I started this business to flip the script. The Red Queen’s Naughty Shelf was born to normalize sex positivity and bring people together through the power of a really good story (and maybe a magic wand or two).
